Millionaire Profits System Update
Posted on 08. Sep, 2009 by MRR.
Well, I have some BAD news, and some GOOD news.
The BAD news is that Ewen Chia decided to stop the production of the monthly blueprints, whenever anyone closes a membership out of the blue it can cause people all sorts of problems, especially if you have invested time and money. When I first heard the news my first thought was “Oh man, what about all those MRR members who have setup memberships around those blueprints?” and was even preparing to inform members.
However, and here is the GOOD news. We’re hoping to continue the blueprints by creating our own videos each month, with MRR members still receiving the resell rights to them, and the even BETTER news is that because these are coming from us…no one else will have these videos other than MRR members!
So all is not lost with this….
I am hoping that we will release the new blueprints this month, but I shall keep you posted on that.
All the best,
Connor

Things to Consider When Opening an Online Store
Posted on 01. Sep, 2009 by MRR.
To get started with Internet marketing, you’ve first got to have an online presence/business, and one of the best methods to that is to build yourself an online store. In other words, you’ve got to have a web site! With all the things that this web site will be doing for you, such as displaying your goods and services and letting customers choose, and facilitating the payment process, it’s important that you make sure it’s a great online store.
Some things to keep in mind:
- The domain name – This will be the name of your online store! Doing business over the internet means that you’ll sometimes be relying on people searching for a product or service you offer through search engines. This means that search engine rankings are going to be important! If possible, try to incorporate your product or service’s name in the domain name, along with your brand name.
Don’t forget that your domain name should not be too complicated! Short and easily pronounceable names help people remember them more quickly than an elaborate name. Unfortunately, there is also A LOT of competition for the short and easy-to-remember words. Ever get frustrated over trying to make an e-mail ID, and finding out the good names have been taken? Well, getting a good domain name is similar. With a little luck and perseverance, you should be able to get a name that suits your needs.
- Web hosting – Because your online store is the primary way you connect with your customers, it is important to get reliable web hosting services. Most of these charge a monthly fee to maintain your site. Of course, do some shopping around first! You can also try asking other people who own good sites what service they use to get some suggestions or tips.
- Web design – If you’ve got the skills in web design, then by all means, take the lead in designing your store! But if you haven’t got the time or skills to do so, hiring a good professional web designer is a good investment. You can check out other online stores, and see what features or designs you like, and ask your web designer to incorporate something similar.
- The right e-commerce software – This software does a lot of the “dirty work” of running your store, from the product displays, all the way to the payment transfers, so your e-commerce software has to be a powerful platform. Some vendors may offer a demo which you can try out, but you can also try working out one that someone you know is already using. With their advice, you get to see what the platform can or can’t do, and how that fits into your online store’s needs.
Opening a web site to be your online store is no walk in the park, but putting in a lot of solid research will be absolutely critical to the web site’s success, and consequently, your online success! Keep these things in mind when looking to open your online store, and I’m sure you’ll do fine.
Regards,
Connor

Where Has All The Time Gone, and Major Update
Posted on 29. Aug, 2009 by MRR.
Uggh, it’s been too long since I wrote a new article, my only excuse is that time got away from me, and I also have to admit that my time management has been pretty shocking for the past month, something that I am normally very good at, providing support, updating MRR all play a part of everyday life, and that’s why I have to recharge the brain and think through my time management strategies:
There are all kinds of devices and technologies around to help you save time. But the more things there are to save time, the more it seems like we don’t have enough. Everyone could use a little help getting more done, so here are a few tips on help you manage your time wisely and fit more into your day.
To be the most productive, try making a plan. Each project you take on, be sure to plan it out ahead of time. Include each step you’re going to need to take, and who and what you need to get it done.
Once you have an overall plan, use this to make a plan at the beginning of each day. Before you do anything in the morning, make a list of what you need to get done that day.
They say that if you start each day by eating a live frog, nothing else you do that day will seem that bad. While you’re probably not going to actually eat live animals, this is a great philosophy to use in your life.
Start each day by picking the hardest thing on your to-do list, the thing you’re really dreading. Once you get that thing done, everything else in the day will seem much simpler. Plus, the feeling of accomplishment will energize you and help keep you focused throughout the day.
If you’re easily distracted and nothing seems to be working to stop that, try removing the distractions totally. If you keep playing video games, go somewhere without internet access or a TV. If you keep getting distracted by the kids, work while they’re at school or when someone else is there to take care of them. The whole point is that not having distractions is much easier than ignoring them.
If you have trouble starting work or keeping on task, get a buddy to help you. The biggest problem most people have is keeping to deadlines. If you don’t have someone to report to, like a boss or manager, then you have less reason to get things done. Ask a friend or family member to check on your work and push you to keep going or get started. If you feel accountable, you’ll get more done in less time.
One of the best things you can do to get more done in your day is to take breaks, just me when I say I take more coffee breaks than you would imagine! While it seems counter-intuitive, giving yourself a rest every so often helps you re-energize and make better use of the time you do have. Whether it be taking the occasional weekend off, doing some yoga or deep breathing during the day, or just sitting in a quiet room drinking your coffee, you need to take some time to recharge.
On another note……
August 09 is proving to be a very productive month for MRR, so far 65 products/services have been added, and we’re only 8 products away from matching our best for a month, which is currently 73. I say it’s been productive…but in fact it’s been a rather tough month in all fairness, 65 products doesn’t quite back that up, but believe it or not the market has been very dry of late.
Running a membership like MRR requires to have lots of ‘sources’ but if those sources dry up too then you can face problems. Memberships, WSO’s, product recommendations all help to keep MRR ticking over, but on many occassions this month we’ve sat there for hours on end wondering WHAT we can find. Anyway, I will be over the moon if we can beat our 73 record this month, still got 2 days left, so let’s see what happens.
I am pleased to say that we added a brand new membership into the mix this month, which is the first in a while, actually it came by accident really. A good friend got me in touch with a very good article writer, and after chatting with her it soon became very clear that she was an expert at writing product reviews, they don’t come cheap, but certainly worth it for members to use on their blogs or even newsletters.

As always for MRR members, you can login at any time to download the latest product reviews, we’ve also included an affiliate link text file, so that you can sign up to the affiliate programs that the articles promote. Feedback has been great so far on this membership, so we will keep it going.
That’s it for now from me, I promise I will post on a regular basis from now on
All the best,
Connor

The Extras Make A Difference
Posted on 24. May, 2009 by MRR.
I was recently speaking with a fellow MRR member, who was talking about how to profit with resale rights.
There are a couple of ways obviously, a membership, but that market is becoming over saturated, and unless you offer something ‘unique’ you will be viewed as yet another. I absolutely urge anyone to offer something unique to the market, hosting, PLR, articles, graphics, whatever it is….it will set you apart from the rest. This is of course if you want to venture into the membership arena.
Selling products, I hear from a lot of people regarding this matter, competition lowering the prices to $1 or something stupid like that. I have been guilty of that too, but these days my main focus is being a provider with the MRR Membership, so no time to actually sell.
But if were selling, and faced with such incredible competition or a price war, this is what I would think:
“Its not just about the product, its about the extras that make a difference”
How can you possibly beat others selling the same thing for a $1? Bonuses, make the offer far greater than your competitors. The lazy marketer will upload, set things up and sell for a BUCK, the smart marketer will work out a strategy, what bonuses to include, are they related, eBooks, software, scripts, graphics etc, anything that will make you stand out will help.
I believe this is actually critical with any resale rights marketer, and you need to start thinking outside of the box. Rather than be like everyone else, stamp your own twist on things so that your customers KNOW you over-deliver.
Competition is immense in the resale rights industry, especially when you have a site that sits at the top of the search engines selling everything for pennies, it’s their way of trying to dominate the market, so it’s imperative you give resale rights a fresh look.
Just remember to OVER-DELIVER, nothing speaks louder than a marketer who goes that extra mile.
All the best,
Connor

A Milestone For Me and MRR Membership
Posted on 16. May, 2009 by MRR.
Today an online buddy of mine reminded me that it’s been a year since I took over MRR, transformed it, revamped, opened the doors again, and have been working on MRR every single day for over 12 months straight!
Staggering when I think about that, but it’s not just me who has been running the show, which may surprise some. Matt and Jennifer have been a big help in reaching our target of daily additions. Trust me when I say adding something every single day is NOT easy, in fact it adds a whole new level stress that I have never encountered before! But thankfully I have come to live with MRR and MRR has come to live with me.
Another milestone for MRR is that 400 members are inside, and far exceeds my expectations. A lot of that has to go down to affiliates, who have been fantastic this year, and I almost fall off of my chair each month, on the 15th when I realize how much commission has been generated! Kudos to those affiliates for reaching those levels.
I just want to thank everyone who has been a part of MRR for so long, team members, but most importantly MRR Members. Without MRR Members this membership would not be half the membership it is, with your requests, advice, suggestions we simply could not keep doing what we do without your help.
On another note, PrivateLabelFuel.com has had a major revamp, and it was a case of having too, I won’t go into the reasons why, but we had to jump on it ASAP.
What we have done with PLFuel is turn it into a PLR hub sort of speak, where we have the freedom to constantly bring fresh PLR to your plate each month. As soon as we receive it from the copywriters you will have it.
At the moment, the membership consists of a few different components:
The Main Product – HIGH END all the way! Videos, Report, WP Theme, PSD Files
PLR Reports – As soon as we receive the reports, you will get them too
PLR eBooks – Once again HIGH END content
PLR Articles – Something we really want to explore more, so we plan on any a bundle each month
That really is it from me now, time to go put my feet up!
All the best to you and yours,
Connor
